Diagnoodle is a manufacturer-independent online platform for the research and comparison of in vitro diagnostic devices at the point of care (POCT). Founded in Vienna in 2024 and based at Kollmayergasse 15/62, Ferkelz GmbH provides medical professionals with a central, digital and evidence-based source of information. The shareholders Violetta Lomakowskaja and Hermann Eickhoff are responsible.

The platform offers a comprehensive market overview with devices from around 99 manufacturers. Users can filter and compare products based on 155 technical parameters, including ten sample types, sample volumes from 0.3 to 4000 microliters, and result times from one second to three hours. Categories such as blood gas analysis, coagulation (PT/INR), hematology, blood glucose monitoring, molecular diagnostics and other areas are covered.

In addition to pure device search and filtering, Diagnoodle enables the creation of individual comparison reports, central access to scientific studies and product documents, practical application videos and an AI-supported product assistant. Users can also request quotes directly from the respective manufacturers.

The platform’s independence is the central feature. As a “Transparency Partner”, manufacturers can provide extended and transparent product information for a fee, without Diagnoodle participating in the sales proceeds. The company cooperates with professional societies such as the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (DGKL), the Austrian Society for Biomedical Analytics and the Competence Center for Innovative Procurement to ensure practice-oriented further development.

The target group includes clinics, emergency services, medical practices and pharmacies as well as specialists from purchasing, laboratories and medical technology. With the slogan “We make point-of-care product research the way it should be: fast, easy and independent”, Diagnoodle positions itself as a tool for faster and more informed procurement decisions in the POCT sector.
