Seegene launches STAgora™: revolution in the analysis of infectious diseases
Seegene Inc., a global leader in molecular diagnostic solutions, has announced the launch of STAgora™, an innovative platform for infectious disease analysis. The novelty: The real-time information system combines diagnostic data with advanced statistical modeling to fundamentally improve the detection, surveillance and control of disease outbreaks.
STAgora™ enables real-time visualization of infectious disease trends at a local, national and continental level based on actual test results, according to the manufacturer. Healthcare professionals receive instantly accessible, structured diagnostic reports and statistical analysis in clear, actionable formats, supported by customizable dashboards and real-time alerts. The platform allows not only the tracking of individual cases, but also the monitoring of outbreaks in selected regions, facilitating situational awareness and data-driven healthcare decisions. Real-time epidemiological insights will enable health authorities to develop effective strategies against large-scale outbreaks.

With over 40 statistical tools, STAgora™ supports the early detection of unusual pathogen patterns and enables forecasts of seasonal trends and new outbreaks. Modules for analyzing individual infections, symptom-based co-infections and real-time calculation of infection trends transform static data into forward-looking information for proactive measures. Unlike traditional systems that rely on outdated data, STAgora™ uses real-time PCR-based diagnostics to instantly visualize the spread of pathogens, complemented by AI algorithms to predict potential outbreaks.
The platform integrates Seegene’s syndromic quantitative PCR technology, which provides detailed insights into single and multiple infections. This enables physicians to make faster and more informed decisions directly at the point of care. Experience from the COVID-19 pandemic underscores the importance of accurate and timely data for public health policy and clinical outcomes, especially in the face of complex threats such as antibiotic resistance, viral mutations and co-infections.
Seegene will present STAgora™ at the annual meeting of the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM ) in Chicago from July 27 to 31, 2025. Key functions, including integration with CURECA™, a fully automated PCR system, will be presented there.
