Next Chance ’27: DGKL continuing education events in Hanover in 2026 already fully booked
The annual multi-day continuing education events of the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (DGKL) in Hanover are already fully booked for 2026. The courses are organized by Prof. Dr. Ralf Lichtinghagen, Senior Clinical Chemist at the Institute of Clinical Chemistry at the Hannover Medical School and Deputy Chairman of the DGKL’s Continuing Education Commission.
The Clinical Chemistry revision course will take place from 9 to 14 March 2026. In six days, around 25 lecturers will provide a comprehensive summary of the continuing education content for specialists and specialists in the field of clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine according to the specifications of the official syllabus.

Immediately afterwards, from March 14 to 15, 2026, the leukocyte differentiation course will follow under the direction of Prof. Dr. Peter Schuff-Werner. The participants will perform practical exercises on the microscopic differentiation of blood cells.
Both events serve to prepare for the specialist examination or continuous further training in accordance with the continuing education regulations. Due to the high demand, the places for 2026 have already been taken.
