In Tanzania, the aid organization action medeor has opened a modern medicine warehouse in Kibaha near Dar es Salaam. The 850 square meter facility meets WHO standards for storage and distribution and is intended to ensure the supply of medicines, medical consumables and equipment, particularly in rural regions. The warehouse enables comprehensive healthcare provision in a country where many people have limited access to medical care.

The Rottendorf Foundation and action medeor jointly opened the new medicine warehouse in Tanzania. The project was financed by the Rottendorf Foundation, which supports the construction, quality assurance systems and operation. The aim of the foundation is to promote sustainable contributions to healthcare. In addition, an administration building was opened, providing over 20 modern workplaces for specialists in pharmacy and medical technology. This should not only promote healthcare, but also regional economic growth.

The buildings set new standards in sustainability with environmentally friendly materials and architecture that reflects transparency and openness. The center in Kibaha will also serve as a platform for knowledge exchange and innovation in healthcare. Compared to the beginnings of action medeor in Tanzania 20 years ago, the project marks significant progress. The organization sees it as a symbol of partnership and commitment to a healthier future in Tanzania.
