Genome sequencing and EHDS: TMF promotes sustainable use of health data
The responsible use of health data is the focus of health research. At the genomDE Symposium on July 10 and 11, 2025 in Berlin, the TMF will present its model project Genome Sequencing. Experts from clinics, research, patient associations and healthcare policy will discuss the use of genomic data in healthcare and research.

At the same time, the TMF is involved in preparations for the European Health Data Space (EHDS). Intensive work is being carried out in specialist circles and legislative procedures on the cross-border use of data in compliance with strict data protection and patient rights standards. The TMF contributes its expertise and provides regular updates on progress.
The digitization of health data aims to improve patient care, targeted research and a solidary healthcare system. The TMF relies on collaboration with its partners to drive these developments forward.
The 4th genomDE Symposium will take place from July 10 – 11, 2025 under the motto “Genomic medicine. Seizing opportunities. Helping people.” at the H4 Hotel Berlin-Alexanderplatz (Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 32, 10178 Berlin).
