DKLM invites students to discover the future of the profession
The German Congress for Laboratory Medicine 2025 will open its doors to young scientists on 24 October and offer interested parties the opportunity to experience modern diagnostics and laboratory medicine up close. Under the motto “Experience the future of laboratory medicine”, the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (DGKL) invites schoolchildren to gain an insight into the working world of medical laboratories of tomorrow.
Starting at 1:30 p.m., participants will be able to get to know various professional fields, talk to experts from medicine, natural sciences and technology at the Congress Center Leipzig, and find out about career paths in laboratory medicine. The congress is intended to provide practical insights into modern analytics, automation and digital diagnostics and thus promote the exchange between science, young scientists and practice.

Registration is required to participate. Interested parties can enter their names on a collection list through their coordinators, which will then be sent to the DGKL registration office by e-mail. The organizers emphasize that the Young Talent Day is part of the commitment to sensitize young talents to the importance of laboratory medicine in health care at an early stage and to show prospects for a scientifically sound career.
