Corporate mission statement

The Limbach Group emerged from an association of independent laboratories in Germany in 2011. This history still shapes the DNA of our group today: each laboratory with its own history, employees, senders and individual range of services fulfills its tasks responsibly. This unique approach enables us to offer diagnostics at the highest level and at the same time take regional characteristics into account.

Today, we have a nationwide presence with over 30 laboratories, more than 300 medical specialists and over 7,000 employees. Together, we ensure medical care for doctors’ surgeries and hospitals. Our regional proximity enables short distances for samples and direct, personal communication with our senders. We attach great importance to working in partnership with outpatient and inpatient doctors on an equal footing. This trusting cooperation with medical facilities is particularly important to us, as it forms the basis of our successful work.

We see our greatest responsibility as providing the best possible support for patient care through precise diagnostics. In specialist areas such as laboratory medicine, microbiology, transfusion medicine and human genetics, we always strive to meet the highest quality standards – from pre-analysis to implementation and validation of the results. Equally important to us is the quality of our advice, which we provide personally and in direct contact as a valuable contribution to diagnosis and treatment.

Although we are strongly anchored in the region, we live the cross-location exchange in numerous expert groups. This exchange enables us to further develop laboratory medicine together and pursue innovative paths. Our efforts focus in particular on evaluating new biomarkers, modern analysis methods and highly developed devices. At the same time, digitalization and the use of artificial intelligence are playing an increasingly important role in our efforts to make diagnostics more efficient, precise and sustainable.

The well-being of our patients is at the heart of everything we do. We are aware of our responsibility as a central pillar of healthcare and actively contribute to its continuous improvement.
