Review: 106th German Radiology Congress confirms central role of radiology
With 8,560 participants, the 106th German Radiology Congress 2025 underlined its importance as the leading forum for medical radiology and image-guided therapy. The congress, which took place as RÖKO DIGITAL and RÖKO WIESBADEN at the RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC), offered a platform for scientific exchange, practice-oriented training and innovative technologies. The accompanying industry exhibition in the RMCC attracted numerous visitors and presented the future of radiology.
Under the motto “Shaping W.I.R. – Knowledge. Innovation. Radiology.”, Congress President Prof. Dr. Martin Mack emphasized the dynamics of the field: “Radiology is more than imaging – it is a future-oriented, patient-centric field that we are driving forward together.” Prof. Dr. Michael Uder underlined the importance of knowledge transfer and interdisciplinary cooperation.

RÖKO DIGITAL, from March to June 2025, recorded 3,696 registrations and offered 96 webinars with an average of 349 participants, totaling around 33,541 accesses. The content, organized by professional societies such as the German Radiological Society (DRG) and the German Society of Medical Technologists in Radiology (DGMTR), will be available on the conrad learning platform until the end of 2026.

RÖKO WIESBADEN: Exchange, science and politics in dialog
The presence part of the congress – RÖKO WIESBADEN – took place from 28 to 30 May 2025 in the RheinMain CongressCenter. The specialist societies, working groups and networks presented current developments, new research findings and practical training topics. The interactive formats, which dealt with health policy challenges such as hospital reform, were once again particularly popular this year.
The 107th German Radiology Congress 2026 under the motto “Radiology without borders” will take place digitally from March 11 to June 20 and from May 13 to 15, 2026 at the Congress Center Leipzig.
