70 years ago, Radiometer presented the blood gas analysis method to the world for the first time. This was a significant breakthrough in every respect, fundamentally changing immediate patient diagnostics. Radiometer has thus made a lasting commitment to the use of state-of-the-art technology and sound insights into clinical processes, from the request for analysis to the documentation of results. In all projects, we analyse the customer’s specific workflows, resources, parameters and measurement requirements and identify possible process optimizations. The individually developed solution concept is then implemented using Radiometer analyzers including accessories, suitable information technology, quality assurance and a training and service concept. Even after the implementation of the selected overall solution, further support is provided through training, quality assurance and our technical service.

Radiometer has its core competence in the area of point-of-care (POC) and laboratories. The business divisions are currently divided as follows:

• Blood gas analysis (including sampler)
  The blood gas analyzers have automated technical features to streamline work processes, reduce errors and speed up procedures. In combination with safePICOand AQURE, the ABL800 and ABL90 series analyzers deliver precision and efficiency for the laboratory and POC.

• Immunoassay
  The AQT90 FLEX analyzer provides reliable results for cardiac, coagulation, infection and pregnancy markers from a single sample within 11 to 21 minutes. Mixing and measurement are automated. No sample preparation is required and there is no risk of contact with blood or waste.

• Transcutaneous monitoring
  The transcutaneous monitors with special electrodes for adults and neonates provide transcutaneously measured _pO2, _pCO2 and _SpO2values and pulse rate continuously and non-invasively.

• AQURE POCT-IT
  The AQURE data management system is an open platform that can be used flexibly for monitoring POCT devices regardless of brand and provider. A complete overview of devices and operators is possible at any time. The AQURE system reports any events that occur and documents all causes and measures, helping you to comply with legal requirements.
• Connect & Care
  Connect & Care is our individually configurable complete solution that connects people, medical devices and data to help your POC measurement system run smoothly. It includes both digital services and on-site support and ensures that you have a competent contact person at your side for the entire duration of your solution.
